allow me to introduce myself.
I have been in the
teaching and tutoring field since 1986. I'm also a registered trainer
with
the People's
Association, Singapore, conducting English, Malay & Indonesian courses
for
adult learners, and
providing Maths & English tuition to school students and conducting
workshops for parents on how to
tutor their children.
On 18th January 2002, I graduated with a Master of Education degree (M.Ed)
from the University of Sheffield, UK. I was in Sheffield to
attend the
Congregation for Conferment of Higher Degrees or what we would call

I also have an Advance
Diploma in Business Administration and
hold several teaching and tutoring certificates.

In teaching languages, I have always
taken the
Communicative/Situational Approach to
language
teaching. I have taught and/or I am
currently
teaching English, Indonesian and Malay
languages
to professionals, civil servants,
diplomats,
member of parliament, business persons,
grassroots leaders, foreigners,
students,
retirees & homemakers at various
community clubs, commercial
schools & Government offices.
I always feel a great sense of personal
satisfaction
and pride whenever my students are able
to
communicate in the languages that I have
taught them.
I am also
well-qualified and equally
adapt at teaching youngsters
from the ages of 7 to 17, and have been
providing group
and individual tuition for primary and
secondary
students since 1992.
The greatest satisfaction I get out of
teaching youngsters is to
watch kids grow up and knowing that I
have inculcated some
positive values and contributed, albeit
to a minor extent,
in shaping the character of these
individuals. Some
students have literally grown up
attending
my classes.

I'm an active grassroots leader holding various positions
in Marsiling Grassroots
Organisations, Singapore, and in particular
as Chairman of Fuchun
Community Club Malay Activity Executive

a youth soccer team

over the years.
